Diagnosis
Antennal scrobes join below frontal suture ; mesoscutum with raised and rather strong reticulation, midlobe with posterior ½ with engraved reticulation; scutellum smooth and shiny; mesoscutum metallic bluish-green, scutellum metallic dark purple; propodeal callus with two setae; femora and tibiae pale; eyes very large and frons very narrow, DE/DO = 2.5 in female, 3.3 in male; hind tibial spur long, LS/LT = 0.33; gaster conspicuously hairy; petiole with a smooth median carina. Similar to argosites but female with smaller eyes, gaster longer with apex acuminate, and midlobe of mesoscutum with engraved reticulation in posterio r ½.
